We carefully source the finest raw materials to ensure the highest quality charcoal products.
Hardwood is heated in a kiln or retort, a specialized oven, with limited oxygen. This process slowly burns away the wood's volatile components, leaving behind the carbon-rich charcoal. Our carbonization process enhances efficiency, creating charcoal with optimal burning characteristics.
After carbonization, the charcoal is removed from the kiln and spread in a covered, open-air area for cooling and weathering for at least 14 days before being packaged.
